  • Product description

Stamping is the process of creating products with specific shapes, sizes, and properties by applying external force to metal or non-metal sheets using a press and dies, causing plastic deformation or separation. These are fundamental components in the machinery manufacturing industry and are widely used in product production across various sectors.

The processing of stamping parts is primarily cold stamping, which involves processing sheet metal at room temperature without additional heating. It can be divided into four core processes: blanking, bending, stretching, and forming. Blanking separates the sheet metal to obtain the desired shape; bending causes angular deformation; stretching creates open, hollow parts from flat sheet metal; and forming is used to manufacture complex curved surfaces or irregularly shaped structures. For materials with greater thickness and higher strength, hot stamping is used. Heating increases the material's plasticity, reduces stamping resistance, and ensures the quality of the formed workpiece.

Commonly used stamping materials include low-carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and copper alloys. These materials possess good plasticity and ductility, meeting the requirements of stamping deformation while balancing cost and performance. The core advantages of stamped parts lie in their **high precision, high efficiency, and low cost**. Standardized die design ensures consistent workpiece dimensions, while high-speed stamping enables mass production. Compared to machining, material utilization can be increased to over 80%, significantly reducing raw material waste.

Stamped parts are used in numerous fields: automotive body panels and chassis brackets; terminals and housings in the electronics industry; panels and brackets in home appliances; and accessories for hardware tools, all of which rely heavily on stamped components. Their quality depends primarily on die precision, sheet metal thickness uniformity, and stamping process parameters. Strict control of die clearance, stamping speed, and pressure is crucial during production to prevent defects such as scratches, deformation, and cracks, ensuring that workpieces meet usage standards.
