Precision stamping parts are widely used in automobile, electronics, medical and other industries. Precision stamping parts may only be a small part, but it has a great impact on the overall quality of the product. Therefore, the quality requirements for precision stamping parts are relatively high, and there can be no Appearance defects affect the appearance and use of the product. So how to check the appearance defects of precision stamping parts? Inspection methods and standards for appearance defects of precision stamping parts:

1. Inspection method for material defects: visual standards, material strength does not meet the requirements, traces on the left side of the rolled plate, overlapping, orange peel, streaks, loose galvanized surface, peeling of galvanized layer.

2. Fillet inspection method: Visually, check that the radius of the fillet is not uniform enough, not clear and smooth. The outer cover is not allowed to exist. Part of the assembly surface of the inner cover, the overlapping fillet not only affects the appearance of the precision stamping parts, but also seriously affects the welding and assembly.

3. Pit bag inspection method: visual. The presence of pits has a serious impact on the appearance of the paint, and the customer cannot tolerate the defect. Large-area pit pockets will also affect the strength, fatigue, and irreparability of precision stampings.

4. Wrinkle inspection method: The visual outer cover does not allow any customer to easily detect wrinkles, and the cover does not allow serious wrinkles to cause material stacking.

5. Inspection method for hair pulling, indentation and scratches: the outer surface of the outer cover is not allowed to have hair scratches and indentations; the outer cover of the inner surface is not allowed to affect the scratches and indentations of the outer surface. The surface of the inner cover does not allow serious scratches and dents, which may cause the product to break.

6. Burr inspection method: The visual burr length is required to be less than 10% of the sheet thickness. Any glitches that affect fit are unacceptable. Any glitch that could cause personal injury is unacceptable. Any punch burrs that interfere with part positioning and assembly are not acceptable.

7. Crack inspection method: visual. Any debris from the outer cover is unacceptable. For the inner cover, only minor chipping repair welding is allowed, but the repair site is not easy to find and must meet the repair standards for precision stamping parts.

8. Neck inspection methods: vision, anatomy. Necking is a potentially dangerous rupture point in the forming process of precision stampings, which has a significant impact on the function, strength and fatigue resistance of precision stampings. According to the degree of necking, determine whether it is precision stamping, rework, scrap, etc.

9. Corrosion inspection methods: visual, anatomical. Corrosion is caused by long-term storage of stampings or incorrect storage, which has a crucial impact on the function, strength, and fatigue resistance of stampings.

The above content is the inspection method and standard for the appearance defect of precision stamping parts, I believe we need to understand. There may be some appearance defects in the production process of precision stamping parts, and it is necessary to inspect and rework the staff to ensure that the precision stamping parts meet the use standards and meet the factory requirements.
